President’s Message
To our visitors
Welcome to our community!
We’re thrilled to have you visit our beautiful neighborhood. With tree-lined streets, well-kept homes, and a warm sense of community, we take great pride in making this a wonderful place to live.
As you explore, you’ll notice the peaceful atmosphere that our residents, both young and old, cherish. To help us keep it that way, we kindly ask that you maintain a speed of 15 mph or less while driving through our streets. Your cooperation helps ensure the safety of our children, seniors, and everyone who calls this neighborhood home.
Thank you for visiting, and we hope you enjoy your time here!
Warm regards,
Larry Laynburd
President, Villages at Tower Oaks HOA
To our community
I hope this message finds you all well. As your president, I thought it might make sense to send you all an end-of-the-year note. The purpose of this message is to highlight how things are going in the community as this year ends.
But, first and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the most joyous and warmest holiday season and New Year. I would also like to express my gratitude to you all for being such incredible neighbors. Having good neighbors, to me, is a key element of a happy community. It is because you are all so great that I find it within myself to serve you, and part of why I love living here.
As we roll into the new year, I will continue to serve you all. I will continue to try to invigorate this community. I will continue to take things seriously while attempting to keep the mood light and fun.
This past year has had its share of difficulties, but it also came with rewarding experiences. I am grateful for the support and cooperation of each one of you.
To highlight some of our incredible achievements this past year:
- We completed all our projects and initiatives planned for the year and produced a tangible project plan for next few years!
- Recruited a new board member! (but have room for one more 😉)
- Accrued over $21.5K in interest helping keep our budget healthy.
- Our budget this year was on track!
- Finalized a budget plan for 2025 which did not require dues to increase for a third year in a row!
- Identified a new Comsource manager that seems really promising 🤞.
Things to keep in mind as we walk into the new year:
- More challenges will come, but the board will take them head on.
- We don’t always know how to deal with every new problem right away, but we promise to do our best.
- The board and our committees are all volunteers with families and full-time jobs, so we are not always available right away, but we are still dedicated to you.
- The Design Review Committee works extremely hard to maintain the look and appearance of the community. Please go easy on them if they poke you about some sort of remediation and remember to submit any applications for any exterior work in advance.
- The Landscaping Committee also works hard at keeping our heavily treed neighborhood looking beautiful.
- Dues in 2026 are likely to increase with inflation and rising costs.
If you feel there are any issues or challenges, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are approachable!
Yours truly,
Larry Laynburd
President
