Village at Tower Oaks Special Board Meeting, May 23, 2006 The meeting was called to order by the president at 7:15 P.M. Members present: Jim Benson, Milton Weinstein, Allen Woodside, Gaurov Dayal, Ruthie Kramer, Nancy Hart Others: Mike Holzman, and for part of the meeting, Robin and Jay Blackman, and Isabel Carrero. Association Board elections were held with the following results: - President – Jim Benson - V.P. – Milton Weinstein - Secretary – to be appointed - Treasurer – Allen Woodside Committee appointments were as follows: - Landscaping – Allen Woodside – chair - Social and Community Relations – Ruthie Kramer – chair - Communications – Steve Maroon – chair - Architectural control – chair not announced Mr. Benson reported that the no-parking signs have been ordered and locations identified. Mr. Holzman reported that installation of the signs would begin within a few days. Mr. Woodside moved that the Board approve the installation of a fence connecting existing fences between our community and Dogwood Park. The motion passed and contractor bids will be sought. Mr. Holzman reported that no ACC application had been received for an installed hot tub on the patio of 1116 Regal Oak Drive. Mr. Holzman will follow up. Mr. Weinstein reported that Montgomery County had passed a law restricting placement of real estate signs. At 8:30 a hearing was conducted to resolve a dispute between two property owners over the placement of trees.
